What comes out of the roll
The slip carries everything a parent and an auditor need, and nothing that wastes paper. Because it is sized in millimetres rather than scaled down from a page, the amount column always lands where it should.
- School name, address and phone at the top
- Receipt number and date
- Student name, roll or admission number, class and section
- Father’s name and family number
- A line per month or per sibling, with invoice numbers
- Discount, amount paid and balance still due
- Payment method and who received it
- Your own footer line, such as "Please keep this receipt safe"
How it prints
Your thermal printer is installed on the fee counter’s computer with its own driver, exactly as any printer is. Ilham 360 sets the page to the roll’s width and sends the receipt through the standard print dialog.
Choose the printer, set the paper to your roll size, and turn off headers and footers so the slip prints edge to edge. Your browser remembers all of it, so from the second receipt onward it is a single click.
| Step | What you do |
|---|---|
| 1. Install | Add the thermal printer to the counter PC with its own driver |
| 2. Open | Open any receipt and choose the 80mm slip |
| 3. Configure once | Pick the printer, set paper to the roll, turn off headers and footers |
| 4. Print | Every receipt after this is one click |
A4 receipts, kept in full
Schools file an A4 receipt and hand out a slip, so both are always available. Set the default your counter opens with in Settings, and switch for a single parent from the receipt screen whenever you need to.
The A4 receipt carries your letterhead, accent colour, paid stamp, principal’s signature and bank details. The thermal slip is deliberately solid black text throughout: thermal paper is heat rather than ink, and plain text stays sharp in a file for years while a printed logo fades.
One payment across several months
When a parent clears three unpaid months at once, the slip lists each month on its own line and prints one receipt number for the whole amount. When one parent pays for several children together, each child gets a line and the family gets a single receipt.
Common questions
Which thermal printers work with Ilham 360?
Any thermal printer with a Windows, macOS or Android driver — which covers essentially every 80mm and 58mm POS printer sold in Pakistan. You install it on the fee counter’s computer the same way you install any printer, and Ilham 360 prints to it through the standard print dialog.
Do I need to install anything for Ilham 360 itself?
No. There is no agent, no background service and no USB permissions to grant. The printer driver is the only thing on the machine, so the same setup works on an office desktop or a phone connected to a shared printer.
Can I still print full A4 receipts?
Yes. A4 remains available on every plan and keeps your letterhead, accent colour, paid stamp, principal’s signature and bank details. You choose which one your counter reaches for first in Settings, and the receipt screen switches for a single parent without changing that.
What is printed on the slip?
School name, address and phone, receipt number and date, student name with their roll or admission number, class and section, father’s name, family number, a line for each month or sibling the payment covers, discount, amount paid, balance still due, payment method and who received it — plus any footer line you set.
Does it waste paper between receipts?
No. The slip is exactly as long as its contents, so the printer does not feed a blank page after every payment.
